Welcome to Fresh Food Market. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Fresh Food Market mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Fresh Food Market reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
"Customer" refers to any individual who registers for an account and uses the Service to place orders. "Picker" refers to the Fresh Food Market team member who selects and packs items for your order. "Driver" refers to the individual who delivers the order to the Customer's specified address. "Vendor" refers to the store or market from which products are sourced.
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to keep this information up to date.
Fresh Food Market reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or are inactive for an extended period.
All prices displayed on the Service are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT unless stated otherwise. Product prices are subject to change without prior notice. Payment is processed at the time of order placement using the payment method selected by the Customer.
Fresh Food Market accepts credit and debit cards, EFT, and other payment methods as displayed at checkout. By placing an order, you authorise us to charge the total order amount, including delivery fees and any applicable tips, to your selected payment method.
Delivery is available within the areas specified on the Service. Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to traffic, weather, or order volume. Fresh Food Market will make reasonable efforts to deliver within the selected time slot but does not guarantee exact delivery times.
The Customer must be available at the delivery address to receive the order. If the Customer is not available, the Driver may leave the order in a safe location or return it to the store at the Customer's expense.
If you are not satisfied with your order, you may request a refund within 24 hours of delivery. Refund requests for damaged, expired, or incorrect items will be processed within 3 to 5 business days to the original payment method. Perishable items that arrive in unsatisfactory condition are eligible for a full refund.
Fresh Food Market reserves the right to refuse refund requests that are deemed fraudulent or that do not meet the stated criteria. Delivery fees are non-refundable unless the order was not delivered.
We collect personal information you provide when creating an account, including your name, email address, phone number, and delivery addresses. We also collect payment information, order history, and usage data to improve our Service.
Your information is used to process orders, communicate delivery updates, improve our products and services, and personalise your experience. We may also use your information to send promotional offers and updates, which you can opt out of at any time.
We share your delivery address and contact details with drivers to facilitate deliveries. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share anonymised, aggregated data with partners for analytics purposes.
